Angelica Castro is the Advisor to CAUSE and Assistant Coordinator of the Community-Based Learning Program at Mount Holyoke. Here she is volunteering with Extreme Home Makeover to help rebuild a house in Springfield, MA. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts and studied Community Health and Theater. She is the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Art-n-Soul Play, a community-based organization that conceives and develops programs to address issues in multicultural communities using artistic expression. She is also an organizational consultant with DramaWorks and is currently leading interactive workshops with the University of Massachusetts’ Labor Management Workplace Education Program on Bullying and Civility in the Workplace. She is on the Planning Board and serves as a facilitator for the Julius Ford/Harriet Tubman Healthy Living Community. In addition to having four beautiful boys, her family hosts an ABC (A Better Chance) Scholar in Amherst whom she is so proud of. She is honored and humbled to be working and envisioning with the inspiring young women of the CAUSE board!
