This powerful event was organized by MHC students and members of the CAUSE board to help spread awareness about this complex human right issue facing our own communities in the United States. It featured a panel of distinguished experts including Tina Frundt, sex-trafficking survivor, activist, CNN hero and founder of Courtney’s House in Washington DC; Eric Goodwin, graduate student and former member of Human Trafficking Students, Lt. Heseltine, a Massachusetts state trooper and member of the Anti Human-Trafficking Task Force; Cassie Lee-Miller, who works as a Human Trafficking Case Management Coordinator for Lutheran Social Services in Worcester; and Prof. Carrie Baker from Smith College.
